ATLAS / INTERACTIVE WALKTHROUGH
DCS ATC departure and arrival guide
Listen to the actual Test27.25 radio flow: VFR startup, optional flight following, Kristine recovery, a short Approach call, the military break and full stop. The departure example uses runway 31; the later arrival uses runway 13 after a runway change.
Updated for Test27.25. Audio uses ATLAS’s local Pocket TTS voices and the exact transcript shown below. A separate synthetic pilot voice distinguishes your calls. These are illustrative DCS scenarios, not recordings of a live flight. Mission frequencies, winds, routes and assigned values take priority. No microphone is used.

Taxi
Batumi radio-flow examples replayed through the packaged Test27.25 controller. Geometry is schematic, not a surveyed Batumi taxi chart. Assigned routes, runway, altitude, traffic checks and frequencies in your session take precedence.
Arrival calls ATLAS accepts
Contact Approach with “Batumi, Viper one one, inbound” or a more detailed call. ATIS information is optional. Visual military arrivals prefer the overhead, except the C-130; explicit straight-in and instrument requests use their own flow.
Tower may give any of these three branches at initial:
- “Viper one one, break left at midfield. Cleared to land runway one three.”
- “Viper one one, cleared for the overhead. Cleared to land runway one three.”
- “Viper one one, break left at midfield, report break.” Pilot: “Viper one one, breaking.” Tower then clears the landing if safe.
For any landing clearance, “Cleared to land runway one-three” is an accepted readback. No extra downwind, base or final chain is required once cleared.
If you skip Approach instructions and contact Tower at initial, ATLAS accepts the arrival only with correct live position and altitude, fresh telemetry, a clear queue and no runway conflict. It is not permission to ignore traffic restrictions.
